Hulk Hogan Tattoo List
Terry Gene Collea, more famously known as Hulk Hogan is retired, award winning American wrestler who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. Since then he has become a television personality, such as on his show Hogan Knows Best, as well as an actor, entrepreneur, and a bassist for Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band. He has also appeared as a radio host for the show Hogan Uncensored. In addition to all of these things though, Hulk Hogan also loves his tattoos. Check out all Hulk Hogan tattoos in this detailed Hulk Hogan tattoo list.
Hulk Hogan’s tattoos aren’t quite noticable. He got 3 tattoos, one on his arm that is the most noticable. Hogan has got another tattoo on his back and a very small one tattoed on his wrist.
Hulk Hogan Arm Tattoo
On Hogan’s right forearm in black and gray script reads the phrase “I am, that I am”. The quote is taken from the Bible, Exodus 3:14 (which is also translated as “I am who I am”), and stands as an inspirational testament to Hogan’s Christian faith. The curling font has an elegant, well done look that was obviously deliberately chosen and well planned. He received that tattoo at the same time that his wife, Jennifer McDaniel, got his real name “Terry” tattooed on the inside of her wrist.
Hulk Hogan Back Tattoo
Stretching from shoulder to shoulder across the top of Hogan’s back, reads the word “Immortal”. The lettering is done boldly, in jet black writing. Unlike the elegant script of his arm, his back tattoo is done in simple, sharp lettering that simply looks more menacing than his other tattoo. It brings to mind images of Hogan as a wrestler above anything else.
Hulk Hogan Wrist Tattoo
On the inside of his right wrist, the wrestler has the word “awareness” inked into his skin. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see this tattoo much but you can slightly see it in the picture below.
Hulk Hogan’s tattoos definitely favor simple and elegant script over imagery in pictures. These simple designs carry across their meanings very well and reflect the personality of Hogan very well. They are detailed in the sense that their designs carry the inflections of the words. The verse taken from Exodus is done with more softness and beauty to it while the “Immortal” tattoo is blunt and sharp, carrying across a harsher message and bringing to mind Hogan’s days in the ring.
